Hello to the people that read my blog. I highly doubt that there are many of you, especially after over a year of neglect! Never the less... I am here. :) Here is the story of Gunner's birth.

PS... There are pictures below :)

At my Dr. on August 24th, my Dr. set my appointment at the hospital to be induced for Monday, August 29th at 9PM. I was excited!! The 29th came, and at about 7PM when we were taking Acey over to my mother-in-laws the hospital called. "We are going to have to push your appointment time back a little" they said. Turns out the hospital was super swamped with people having babies. They said that it would not be tonight, but they would call me the next morning. I didn't wait and called back at 8AM, still no open rooms. Called back at noon. Nothing. Waited till shift change at 7. Nada. Next day... still nothing but crushed hopes to meet Gunner. The next day I went to the Dr appt I thought I wouldn't need cuz I would be in the hospital having my baby and she stripped my membrane (ps... you guys were right, it freaking hurts!) The hospital said they were hopeful to get me in after lunch time (after we called them like 4 times...geez, I bet they hated me). Finally I got a call at about 4 PM and they said to come down now and they will get me in... " Don't wait, because we might have someone else take your bed". I said... " We are on our way!!"

After getting in and settled it was 7 or 8PM. They started me on Pitocin. It didn't really speed up my contractions very quickly. I thought we were going to have the same problem as I did with Acey (labor for 36 hrs, pushed for 4 hrs). Nurse Leslie came in several hrs later and took my pitocin down to 1/2 to restart. Still not a whole lot of action. I could talk thru my contractions they were still about 4 minutes apart. Finally the on call Dr Tutt came in to check my progress and broke my water (8AM). I had only gone from 2CM dialated to 4CM. I guess thats all I needed, cuz almost immediately my contractions were a minute apart and it was hard to breathe thru them. An hour later I was at 5CM. The CRNA had some trouble administering the epidural, but finally got it... the pain meds kicked in and I felt a lot better (10 AM - 7 CM dialated). About another hour later and I was at 9CM. Started to feel the need to push around 1215 PM, after pushing for 30 minutes Gunner turned and was ready to come out!!! The nurse called for the Dr, and asked me to wait for him. YA. FREAKING. RIGHT. I couldn't wait. My awesome nurse Donna delivered Gunner at about 1 PM. Then the Dr came running in wearing his street clothes. haha.

He was so handsome!! They brought him right to me and let me hold him. He looks so different than Acey did, accept his noes. He has tons of blonde hair.

Okay I just uploaded tons of pics!! Please look below at all of them. I'm just going to give you my life in a nutshell real quick. Acey is HUGE. Shes over 14 lbs, 24 in, and she'll be 5 months next week. HOLY CRAP! Where has the time gone? I'm teaching dance a couple of nights a week, and Beau is doing adwords for Google. WE'RE TRYING TO FIND A HOUSE TO RENT IN MESA, so if you know anyone looking for a tenant, please let me know asap!! Well, thats about it, hopefully i will be taking more pics of Acey soon, and I'll try to fit some other people in the pics as well. :)

Let It Begin!!

We all know the quote " Diet Begins Monday"... Well I have changed that quote for myself to...
"Healthy Lifestyle Begins Monday".

No more of this DIET crap... I need a permanent change! I know I have said this many times before, but now my unhealthy-ness has gotten out of hand (eating fast food daily, freezer food, way too many sweets, no exercising = no good)

Well... IT. ALL. STOPS. MONDAY.
{cue the cheesy, motivating music}
I WILL reactivate my gym membership.
I WILL USE my gym membership at 4 or 5 times a week.
I WILL eat lots of fruits and veggies.
I WILL cut down my carbs/sugars/not so healthy foods to the minimum.
I WILL try to be a good example for my daughter.

Now... just a reminder, my goal here is to be healthy mind & body. I'm not trying to be skinny or thin... Healthy & Fit. Say it with me "HEALTHY & FIT"!!!!!
A Couple Goals:
Hike Camelback without passing out.
Drop 2 or 3 dress sizes
Be able to keep up with Beau while running (at least for the first mile or so)

Alright folks... I'm posting this so I will have to go thru with it this time! No turning back... I'll try to update weekly with my progress, and complaining about how I wish I could just eat a dozen of my mom's weekly delicious cupcakes.

So as Rhino (from Bolt) would say "Let it begin. Let it Begin. LET! IT! BEGIN!"

She's Here!!! 3 weeks early!!

Acey Lynn Smith is here!! She is already 3 weeks old today. Its actually her due date today. So here's the story.... My water broke at 230 am on Wednesday 4/21/10. I was asleep, and I woke up and nudged Beau saying "Beau, I think my water just broke!" his reaction was... "Are you sure you didn't just pee your pants?" Well turns out no... my water definitely broke. My next thought was...aren't I supposed to be having contractions or something?? No Contractions. Yet. So we got some stuff together - car seat...clothes (I didn't even have a bag ready or anything)...camera- We had to go to Beau's parents and trade cars since we only have a 2 seater, then headed off to the hospital. So about 45 minutes later we arrived at the hospital, still no contractions.

Beau snapped this wonderful pic of me looking like I peed my pants... but don't worry... i was still leaking profusely.

When they had signed me in and brought me to triage, the nurse said... "Well seeing how there is a puddle on the floor under you, I assume your water has broken, lets go ahead and get you a room."

I of course called my mom and sister on the way to mesa and let them know whats going on... so during this process I keep getting texts from Kisha "Whats happening now?" "Hows it going?" "Okay I can't sleep anymore, I'm too excited". So Mom and Kisha headed down to the hospital.

They started me on Pitocin cuz labor was moving really slow, and she came in every 30 to up the dosage. Turns out I was having contractions, just couldn't feel em. Also they put me on Penicillin because I hadn't had my strep b test yet. The Penicillin burned like crazy!! I didn't like it.

Bout 12 hours later I got an epidural. I still wasn't dilating very well so they took me off Pitocin when I was at the highest dosage then restarted it a while later to see if they could jump start my labor. It worked! By that time my epidural meds had worn off the left side of my body. My contractions were right on top of each other and even after a couple extra doses of the meds I could still feel everything on my left side. (my hats off to those of you that give birth drug free... you are amazing) They had to come give me shots of pain killer on top of the epidural cuz it wasn't working. Finally... after about 28 hours i dilated enough to start pushing... then 4 hours, 3 pain med shots, and lots of broken blood vessels later... my beautiful Acey Lynn Smith was born. 3 weeks early :)

You'll notice in these pics my poor baby's head. She was born face up, so she was kind of stuck until my doc gave me an episiotomy. Then she literally shot out, and the doc almost dropped her because she came out so quickly.

She had a lot of mucus and stuff in her lungs and had to stick a tube down her throat to get it pumped out.

This was after her first bath. She wasn't crying very much before. We were all kinda worried cuz she hadn't give us a real good cry yet. Her cries sounded like a little kitten, but once they gave her the bath she gave us a good cry.

She was so awake and aware right away.

Acey had jaundice. The 2nd day we were in the hospital our nurse noticed Acey's skin looking a little yellow, so they did a blood test on her. Acey's biliruben level was like a 14 so they kept her in the neonatal nursery the 2nd night we were in the hospital. They released me the next morning, but she had to stay for photo therapy. My baby shower was that day, so I went, but not before having a mental breakdown because I left my baby at the hospital and didn't stay with her. (my sister came in mid-episode and reassured me I wouldn't be able to do anything or even hold her while she was getting photo therapy and made me feel better). So right after the shower my mom and I headed to the hospital so I could see her. On the way there the hospital called to tell me I could come get her because she was being released. YAY!!!

My Mom had a mini photo shoot with her in a princess dress... so sweet!!

At her first Dr's appointment he said she was doing good. He said her color was good and she had gained back most of the weight she lost at the hospital. So we went to her 2 week appointment and the saw a different Dr. by chance. Thank goodness, he said she was looking yellow still and wanted to get her biliruben level tested just incase. Her bili level was at a 19, and the Dr. was having a special blanket sent to my house to have phototherapy at home. I had to supplement with some formula too.

She was to be on the "biliblanket" unless nursing or diaper change. So we had her on that from Monday until Wednesday and took her in for another blood test (which by the way I cried about as much as she did - those heel prickers are horrible inventions). The level dropped from 19 to 15, Dr said 2 more days of phototherapy and she should be good to go. I could definately see a difference in her skin color and she was awake more. Had an appt with the Dr last friday and he said she is looking a lot better!! YAY!!!

These are pictures I took yesterday, you can see the yellowness going away and her eyes getting a little whiter, thank goodness.

Tiredness/ contractions

Remember how I couldn't sleep? I forgot to mention I was having contractions last night when I woke up at 3:10 AM. "Great I'm not ready for this." i thought. Well i finally fell asleep at 7:15 AM and then woke up after 9... yet again having contractions. They've slowed since I woke up. I've had only 3 since i woke up and its now 12:07. Called my doc, she said "It sounds like false labor, and they seem to be slowing down (I guess that's good). If they persist I'd like you to go down to labor and delivery to make sure you are not going into labor." My brain said "AHHHHHHH!!!! Scary!!!" Told Beau and he says "Relax, try not to stress, maybe take a nap, we don't want to have the baby today." So... currently I'm waiting to see if another will come...

Has anyone else had this happen to them??

I'll be waiting for some responses.

Can't Sleep

You might want to know its 4:02 AM and I have been up since 3:10 AM because I can't sleep. I tried laying in different positions - no help, getting up to pee - didn't help, getting a little snack to ease my hunger - now im not hungry but still wide awake, going downstairs to sleep on the couch - i thought it might be a lil more comfortable...i was wrong, trying to read - usually that will put me to sleep if i'm tired when i start reading. I had a fever/cough the past 2 days...and i've been coughing all night, so I took some tylenol to make sure i don't have a fever. But here I am, wide awake and not even close to being tired. Lovely. So I thought I'd catch up on my blogging.

I had another ultra sound yesterday. Last week my doc said the baby had a big growth spurt and she wanted to make sure everything was growing properly and maybe double check my due date. Turns out... its definately a girl! AND... the tech says my due date is May 13th instead of May 23rd, thats 10 days sooner!!! And my little girl is weighing in at about 5 lbs 10 oz!! Yikes!! And the thought of being a mother in like 5 weeks blows my mind and pretty much freaks me right out!

I finished my crib bedding today. And here are some pics of it. For those of you who voted... I picked #3 i think. My mom is disappointed with it cuz we put cute pink toole at the bottom, and the railing cuts it off... but it will show in a couple months when I have to lower the crib bed down.

I have tons to do in the baby room, and i just realized if the ultrasound tech was right about my due date, then I have to really hustle. {cuz when your pregnant and working a full time job, you don't want to do anything when you get home - so things tend to take a little longer to get finished. :) Or maybe thats just me being lazy}

The other day I had a dream that I had a boy instead of a girl. I woke up, and ever since that dream I can't help but think.... "What if im preparing all this stuff for a girl and I end up having a boy." My mom assures me we will return the girls stuff we buy. The girl stuff we made... well either save it and hope I have a girl another time, or we can always try to sell it.

So...here is my partially done crib bedding.

I only have the bumper and the quilt done right now. And I am trying to decide what to do for the skirt... I'm putting a vote out there. Its obviously going to look a little different than the images below, but you get the idea right??? (The pink and print stripe at the bottom is only going to be like 4 or 5 inches.) I have been nominated by the wonderful Leah Wakefield for the Beautiful Blogger award. After i was nominated I thought to myself "Its about freakin time!!!" Just kidding I didn't. I think maybe she couldn't think of anyone else to nominate. haha. But Thank you! AND I hope you are all prepared to hear fascinating things about me... (not).

I'm sure you have heard the rules... I have to share 7 facts about myself and give the award to 7 others.

1. I am a negative person. I know thats not a good fact, but at least its a fact. This really bugs Beau, he is a problem solver so he always is looking for solutions and finding ways to fix things. He is always able to look for positive things. Meanwhile, I am always thinking about the worst possible scenario. And I stress myself out doing that. I am trying to fix it... but its hard to fix an instinct I've had for 22 years. Oh well... work in progress :)

2. I LOVE peanut butter. I love pb so much. Especially now that I'm pregnant... it gives me a reason I NEED to eat it (HELLO...PROTEIN, cuz most meats gross me out lately... I just tell myself that to make me feel better) I love PB on freshly toasted wheat bread, bananas, apples, in shakes, on a spoon or my finger-right out of the jar, in cookies/on cookies, with honey, with strawberry jelly, I could go on and on.

3. I really like shopping. When I watch/read Confessions of a Shopaholic I completely feel like the book/movie was made by someone secretly watching me. Okay so I don't go to like Gucci or Barney's or anything (and I'm not in debt), but like ROSS, MARSHALS, TARGET, F21... they are bad news for me. Here's why... A. You can ALWAYS finds something you like there. B. If you only buy 1 thing its always (almost) less than 20 bucks. C. You always find more than one thing you want so you can rationalize only buying one of the 2, or 3 , or 4. OK... enough of that.

4. Everyone put something they are afraid of, so I'll jump on the bandwagon. I am really afraid of the dark... Like even when I have to get up to pee in the middle of the night and my husband is sleeping in bed... the walk from the bathroom to the bed is the worst (scenario - IF there IS someone in my house, now they know WHERE I am and that I'm awake and could be waiting for me around the corner) See what i told you about being negative... Yikes

5. I HATE BAD BREATH!!! Yikes. It is one of my pet peeves. If I have ever had bad breath around anyone of you reading this please let me take this time to say. "I am very sorry". Bad breath is freaking gross and if you ever had it around me I would let you know, cuz I would want the same done for me. Eww. Yuck!

6. I am very excited to be a mom. I'm pretty scared at the same time, but watching the news and TV shows lately, all I can think of is that I know I'm going to be a better mom than some of these crazy people who don't even appreciate their children. Don't get me wrong, I know I won't be the best mom, but I'm going to try to be.

7. I enjoy reading and some TV shows. I really like reading classic literature. Ya know, Jane Austen, the Bronte Sisters, that kinda stuff. Of course Good Ol Steph Meyer, Libba Bray. Wow all those are girls, just some of the top of my head. As far as TV goes, Its HOUSE (I Love Hugh), Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Heroes. I'm SO not a reality show fan (MINUS SYTYCD), they are just silly to me.

okay i hope Tatum doesn't get mad, but I stole a pic from her blog because I can't stop thinking about this. My nephew (Her Son) Wyatt is soooo cute!!!! Big HUGE blue blue blue eyes and a smile that is contageous!! The other Sunday we were sitting at the dinner table and she mentioned that Wyatt looks a little like Jack Jack from the Incredibles... I LOVE IT!!!

Update Time Folks

Sorry, its been awhile since the last post. A bunch of stuff has happened since the last post. Right now I am 23 weeks so bout 1/2 way thru my pregnancy. The week before Christmas we found out that we are going to be having a GIRL!!! Sorry to all those ppl I lied to an told them I didn't know - The only person I told was Kisha (she had a secret of her own) because I was going to surprise our parents for Christmas with some girl baby clothes... here is my mom opening her xmas present...

And the secret Kisha had is.... She is pregnant too!!!!!! Right now she is about 13 weeks along and she was doing the same kinda thing for my mom for Xmas... here are a couple of her present.

So Xmas was fun for us to share that with our families.

Since then I have become a little crafty... I know ME... Crafty... Who woulda thought!! Beau's grandma (who is a seamstress) moved and wanted to get rid of TONS (literally) of fabric. I willingly took some. So I asked my mom if she'd help me sew some dresses - i needed her help because all I have ever sewn is a pillow in 7th grade Home Ec. haha- So here are the first two dresses I have made so far. This was about 3 weeks ago.

And I hate to post it cuz I'm a whale, and this was me like 2 weeks ago, so I've grown larger since then, but i'll do it anyways.... (take note- will not wear horizontal stripes anytime soon)

Feeling Sick

I woke up on Monday morning feeling not so hot. I usually feel like that in the morning so I just got ready and went to work. When I got to work, it really hit me. I was not feeling good. I had a fever and my throat was sore. So I called up my doc and asked what I should do, she sent me to family care dr because she didn't want me getting all the other pregos at her office sick.... turns out... I have the FLU. LAME!!!! So now I'm stuck at home all day because I can't take anything besides Tylenol. Lotsa fun. Hopefully my system is strong enough to fight it off soon... cuz no work for me means no money to pay the bills. Hope you all got your flu shots!!!!!

Okay, so here are my first photo's of my baby. The last two aren't so great, but the first one actually looks more like a baby. These were done at my first appt on Oct 29th. My next appt is the day before Thanksgiving and ill be 14 weeks. So hopefully the pictures will look more like a baby. :) My Dr. said everything looked good so far, and the baby was moving all around while she was trying to get pics.

I thought of some other things that I forgot to post about yesterday so you guys get 2 IN A ROW!!!! :) Well one thing is Beau decided to change careers. He is working part time at his Uncle's company still and then also he is going to school as well. He decided that he would like to be a fire fighter!!

Well, it wasn't like it was just a whim or anything, he has wanted to pursue this for a long time, but just finally decided to go thru with it. So... when we found out we were prego my eggo we were a little worried. But I think we have things figured out and we are sure its going to work out in the end.

Also we had a different kind of addition to our family recently. Beau's brother Austin and his wife Nicole (and their 2 dogs --yes 4 dogs at my house) were going thru some tough times, and so they are going to be staying with us for a while.

Beau and I are hoping we can rent out our house in Laveen and move back to Mesa soon (cuz i think I might die if I don't have help with a child that cries and I can't figure out why). Its not a finalized thing yet, but IF ANYONE HAS SOME ADVISE ABOUT RENTING OUT HOUSES OR EVEN JUST PAST EXPERIENCES I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU COULD LET ME KNOW!! (i thought if i made it all caps ppl would read it and not just pass over it cuz there are no pics...)

Okay folks. No need to worry. I AM ALIVE. You might not know that since I haven't updated since... January, Yes you read right... JAN-U-ARY! So as you could guess lots has happened since then. So I will go in order the best I can (and I'm just going to do the big stuff /pictures I have on my camera).

Beau and I had our 2 yr anniversary!!

Tatum and Klete had their Baby. His Name is Wyatt!! Hes freaking cute. I don't have any pictures of Wyatt on my Camera, but I can tell you if you go to Tatum's, Kisha's, or my Mom's blog you can see how cute he is there. He has already grown so much!!

And Finally.... here is some really exciting news... see if you can guess from this clip art...

Yes... I'M PREGNANT!!!! I haven't gone to the doctor yet. I was trying to figure our what doctor to go to and all that kind of stuff. If I calculate correctly I should be about 6 weeks this week (Don't ever count on my calculating). So I'm not very far along or anything. I'm sure the next question for some of you is... "were you guys planning/trying?" the answer to that is "not exactly". We were for a little while but then Beau is changing careers and we were not sure what was going to happen so we stopped trying. And of course... thats when it happened. So we are super excited and happy!!!! I can't wait (i have secretly wanted to start trying for a while). Anyways... thats all I have right now. I'm sure I will be posting more frequetly (thanks to my mother and sister's nagging). Talk to you all soon!! :)

When we went up to Snowflake for Shawnda & Nate's Open House, we decided to go take a look at the temple.

As we were driving up to the hill with the temple on the top, we saw this house... Okay... this MANSION!!!!!! You can see the temple in the backround, and if you click on the picture, you can see actually how HUGE this house was, in the driveway (the gated part on the right) you can see a big 4door truck, compared to the house... wow.... just wow. So Beau and I decided we want to move to Snowflake and build a huge house like this!!!!!!

We are going to the Caribbean!!!!! Hooray! We are going on a cruise this saturday! I'm so excited. We were supposed to go for our honeymoon (Beau had a 103 temprature, so we didn't go), then we were supposed to go for our 1st anniversary, but that didn't happen.But we are going finally!! Well hello fellow bloggers. I know, I know, I haven't updated anything for a couple months now. SORRY!!! Well lets see here, where shall I start?

I am working at B of A now. I've been working there since September.

I cut my hair... I'll have to upload a pic of that.

I just got done with my brother-in-law's wedding. It was at the Marshal Rose Garden in Scottsdale. It was really nice minus the fact that is was like 40 degrees outside.

Koda, one of my puppies recently went into heat. NOT FUN!! Needless to say, next thing on our list is to get them both fixed ASAP. Cleaning that mess up was no fun.

My sis in law, Tatum, is prego!! Congrats to her and Klete!!

We had our family Christmas party. We went bowling and it was a blast!!!! Beau and I went to his fam X-mas party and we had a lil white elephant exchange.

Beau got a Corvette from his boss. And since he already has a work car, I'm driving it. Beau would be mad at me for saying this, but its not new or old enough to really be cool. Its a '95. But its cooler than my old car cuz its fast. So we will be selling my Mirage. If anyone wants a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage let me know. Its in pretty stinking good condition.

Umm.... I never posted anything about Twilight, and I am going to have to restrain myself to a short little diddy or else I will go on all day and night. LOVED the movie!!!! Love Rob! Love Kristen! Love Cathrine Hardwick! Love Taylor! Love Ashley! Love Nikki! Love Kellan! Love Peter! Did i mention I love Rob (have you seen his new hair *sigh*)? And Finally... LOVE STEPHANIE MEYER! (PS I swear on my life I saw her driving the other day! And I almost crashed my car). Anyway- I loved the movie and I'm nervous for #2, I'm not sure how Chris is going to do... but maybe he will be a little better on the effects (AKA the sparkle effect...yikes)... I'm still real excited, but yet I am depressed that it won't be out till the end of next year *tear*...OK I'll stop now.

I just want to give a little shout out to my Hubby in honor of our anniversary.
I love you so very much Beau. I am still amazed to wake up each day next to you. You are the most wonderful person. You are loving, generous, patient (i know i push it a lot), sweet, selfless, not to mention hilarious! You always make me laugh! Anniversary...

It was our 1 year anniversary on August 23rd. We didn't do anything special, just spent the weekend together which was nice. We usually go in to Mesa on the weekends, but we stayed at our house and just relaxed. I was pretty relaxing! I got our cake out to eat... and....it totally had mold on it.... sad huh! Oh well

Umm... I had never had dogs before in my whole life, my parents wouldn't let me have any when I was growing up. My dad had always said "No dogs, they are messy, and I'll be the one cleaning up after them".
I just about had it the other day with Tilly and Koda.
They didn't really do anything bad, but it was raining - I didn't know or else they would have been inside - they decided to run all over the carpet, covered in mud AGAIN. I was upstairs painting, so Beau cleaned it up for me. (whata sweetheart)
So he locked the dogs in their crate, I finished painting, and went to lay in bed and read, I was super tired for some reason, Beau comes in and said... "I hope you weren't attached to these..." and hands me my sunglasses.
Before I tell you my reaction, let me tell you about my sunglasses...
They were cheap, like 6 bucks, but they were like perfect sunglasses! They fit my face, didn't leave marks on my nose, and that was the first day I got them.
So when he gave me the glasses, the ear pieces were bitten off and the lenses were destroyed... I threw the remains of my glasses against the wall and let out a big "UGH!!!!" rolled over and sulked for a bit.
I know, I over reacted, they were cheap...but here is a list of what my dogs have destroyed: 4 pairs of my shoes, ipod earphones, Christmas decorations, 3 computer cords, cell phone chargers, potty-ed all over the floor, covered my carpet in mud multiple times, one of beau's flip flops, a couple hats, 1 xbox controller, belts, chairs, buckets, water bowls, brooms, books, cups, and they have been chewing on the air conditioner cord(which is kinda stupid, cuz they electrocute themselves, and throw up) and we had to re insulate it a couple times.
I was just fed up. Don't get me wrong, I love my pups! They are sweet, and hilarious to play with.
I just needed to vent, PS- if you are thinking about getting a dog... don't do it. HAHA

So since I don't have a job my husband thought I should be doing something (AKA ANYTHING BUT READ TWILIGHT, NEW MOON, ECLIPSE, OR BREAKING DAWN) so I decided I'd paint some rooms in my house. Apparently, he meant "Paint my game room". haha. Just kidding, he just is better at making decisions than I am. So I started painting his room, and I was trying to think of what colors I should use in my front room. I need some help... My family room is green, black, and white, would it look funny if the front room has none of those colors in it? or should I use like green in the front room as an accent color?? Opinions??? Please??

Alright, I know everyone is tired of listening to me talk about anything that involves a book that Stephanie Meyers wrote, but I gotta, so if you don't wanna hear it... skip this blog.

So I went to Barnes and Noble to get Breaking Dawn August 2nd, just like all the other crazy ppl. I waited till they called the color and letter of my ticket, and got my book shortly after midnight. I can't help but tell you... I WAS FREAKING EXCITED!!! I had been waiting only a month for the book, but I was ecstatic!! So I started reading it after I got home. I read till about 4:30 AM -1/2 finished with the book- cuz I needed to get some sleep! I couldn't really sleep that well (I don't know if it was cuz of worrying about what happened next in the book, the Diet Coke I was drinking while reading, sleeping on my in-law's couch, or my serious issue with sleeping through the night) but I woke up at 8:00 AM. No one else was up so.... got right back to the book. I finished it that night! All I can say is....HECK FREAKING YA STEPHANIE MEYER IS THE BEST!! I loved every second of it... everyone needs to read this series ASAP!!!

So everyone kept telling me that I HAD to read Twilight... and for those that don't know me that well know that I DO NOT READ. I have never read a book that was not a part of my school curriculum. I gave in, just to see what all the fuss is about. Well... I hope you are all happy now. I'm completely OBSESSED!!! (ask my hubby, I don't think its healthy for me to be so enthralled with a book) I started reading Twilight on Thursday... I finished the 3rd book today. (That is like incredible time for me.) I think I might die that the 4th (Breaking Dawn) isn't coming out till AUGUST!!!!! I'm dieing here.

Stephenie Meyer is a genius!!!

So if there are any of you that are diliberating on whether or not you should read 'em... I STRONGLY urge you to read!!!! ASAP!!!!

So we've been living in our house for 8 months and we are just now buying ceiling fans... HAHA!!! My husband is so handy!! We also had the Smith Family party. It was a pot luck/white elephant gift exchange too!!! Ok... so I have never played such a intense game before. Beau's family is a little sneeky, in a good way, and they play this game as a team. So basically all you need to know is... Tamea (beau's mom) wanted 4 certain gifts, and it just so happened that one person in her family got each of those items. Needless to say it was a blast!!!!

For the Rogers' (imediate family) Christmas party We all went out to eat at aEl Paso restaraunt. Then we went back to the campbell residence to do a gift movie themed gift exchange. Very Very Fun. Then my mom had a special surpise... we went outside (freezing) and she has a pinata set up. It was full of money and gift cards wrapped in a sock (some with cardboard inside to throw you off)!!!!

**Here are the rules we got**:

*Girls have to hit the pinata.

*Once the pinata has bursted, girls must throw the money filled socks to the boys (who were standing far away). If they didn't catch them, they were put back into the pile and thrown again.

So we all took our socks inside it see what we got.

Losta money, lotsa gift cards, lots and lots of fun!!!

So we don't really have any pics quite yet. We actually haven't got the pics from our wedding back from the photographer, but don't worry, they will come soon! We are living in PHX, and it seems like it is sooo far away. We are living in Beau's uncles old house till our house is finished (we are hoping the beginning of December).
